So I had a marvellous 3.5 years with my ex-SO (close distance) before we ended it, pretty amicably and mutually. We simply changed and I grew up and he and I moved in separate directions. It was nevertheless heartbreaking and the single most painful break-up I have ever been through - I had really thought we were going to get married - but I am picking up the pieces okay. LFAD has always been a fantastic place of support and on top of missing it, I am going through a massive transition right now and felt like a little forum time could do me some good, so here I am.
