I've never been in a LDR before, so this is all new to me. I'm divorced and so is my SO (I'm 50 and he's 48). We met this past August and quickly began spending almost all of our free time together. He had to relocate to Chicago for a year for his job, and just left a few days ago. I think what makes it hard is that our relationship is still so new (about 3 months). He tells me not to worry, that we'll figure it out 
We're planning to see each other every 6 weeks or so, and I can't wait for our first visit...I miss him already! But I'm hopeful that we'll be able to make this work.
