Hey there everyone!!
Hey, I just joined today. 
I just found this site yesterday while looking for things to do with my boyfriend and it looks really awesome. We started long distance at the end of August after going out for only a month, but we both knew that it was what we wanted to do, and so we decided to give it a try.
I am in Lethbridge in my first year of University for art, and he is in Edmonton finishing up his last semester at NAIT for Computer Sciences. We have plans to close the distance in two years, because he wants to come down and get his bachelors at the University during my last two years.
So far things have been going really good, but we have both noticed that we are feeling the strain of not being able to see each other everyday. I showed him this site and he thinks there is a ton of good ideas for things for us to try out to bring us closer.
Anyways, I hope to make alot of awesome friends on this site, and that it helps to make this a little easier on both of us.
