I found this site today after trying to find tips to battle post visit depression, as I just got home from a 2 week visit with my boyfriend.
My name is Emily and I am 19 years old. My boyfriend is 20 and we met while playing video games 6 years ago. We live 834 miles away and only started having a sort of set visiting schedule since the beginning of 2017. We have only visited a total of 6 times since we started dating (due to my parents not accepting it at first and also expensive flights). We try to call each other as much as possible, but it gets difficult because we are both in college and he is also in a fraternity. We have been trying our best to make our relationship work and we plan on moving in together once we graduate.
I am so glad I found this site! It is nice to be able to get advice from other people who have experience long distance.
