My heart is full after seeing so many encouraging posts 
I am Joley from Singapore and recently closed the distance with my other half from Germany (let's refer to him as M). We met in Sweden during our semester abroad and got together while traveling around Europe. We will soon celebrate our 3rd anniversary in June this year.
While in a LDR, I was almost ashamed to use a forum to discuss some of the problems I had with M. I just had that naivety at that time. When I moved to Düsseldorf 6 months ago, I realised the problems did not stop just by closing the distance. From my experience, the topic of living together for a couple who is not from a LDR v.s. a couple who was previously in a LDR is so different. That's why I am here now, trying to discuss some of these issues with a like-minded community.
