Hello, I知 new to this site and hope that i can get some support and maybe opinions from y誕ll. I met a guy over the internet about 2 months ago never got to meet him in person. I am from America and he lives in Germany. He was in America for work and i just so happen to match him on the last day he was here. He said that he comes to America for work so next time he is here we will meet up. Things for the most part are good. I知 just have a hard time asking questions and if they are the right questions to ask without ruining the relationship. Like I知 not sure if he is seeing other people. I知 not and told him i wanted to wait for him. Is it right for me to ask him to not see other people till we meet or is me telling him I知 not dating anyone so i can met him good enough? I知 also new to dating i got a divorce about a year ago. I was with my ex for 13 years. I feel like such an idiot for even trying to have a relationship with someone that far away.

Hi and welcome.
I wouldn't recommend you to ask him not to see other people till you meet. I think it doesn't sound right until the both of you are starting something serious. The second option you stated sounds better to me. Also, you already told him you want to wait for him. I guess he doesn't need more hints than these two.
Also, you shouldn't feel like an idiot or anything like this, for the reason you stated. A lot of people here have a relationship with someone who lives thousands of miles away. This is not the easiest situation indeed, but if the person is the right one, then this is worth it.
