my name is Missy. I live on Long Island in New York. Last March, I was dating someone who lived an hour away from me, in Brooklyn. I was sure it would never work because of the "distance". Last April, I travelled to Australia to visit friends, and then I met my now boyfriend. It's one of those "when you know, you know" feelings. Since April, he has been here to NY twice, met my whole family, and even attended a wedding with me. I have just come back from Australia in January, where we travelled around Queensland for me to meet his family, and have a getaway to celebrate the New Year together. Next month, we will meet in Vietnam for 12 days. I love my boyfriend, and I can't imagine my life without him, but lately the distance is weighing on, me, I feel like I'm going crazy! He did apply for the US Green Card lottery, and we will find out in May if we are that lucky.
