        Hi and welcome to LFAD

That's a great story, sound like you've got so much in common! I bet you're counting down the days until your first meeting

          Good morning!

I, too, would like to officially introduce myself to the boards. Although the last thing I need in my life right now is another internet addiction, I sure am having fun reading some of your stories, especially the successful ones! What a wonderful place to have discovered...it's so reassuring to know there are others experiencing the same thing as we are!

I feel so fortunate to have "accidentally" found my love. As willieboy stated, there was a door that we kept locked, by refusing to discuss the difficult, seemingly impossible decision that would face us if we admitted our feelings to each other.

From the minute we opened that door, I have been incredibly content and optimistic about our future together. He is a wonderful person, in every way. I am so lucky that I found him, and even luckier that he wants to build a beautiful life together with me.

                Welcome to LFAD

It's really nice to see more mature people on here since usually people's opinion seems to be that LDR's only happen amongst teenagers who play World of Warcraft
I'm not divorced but I'm a single mum of 1 - feels weird to say "single" btw lol - and I've always thought of myself to be more mature than anyone my age (I'm 27) and my best friends are some 10 years older than me too.

I hope you and your SO will love it here

Since a physical relationship was impossible, we had to develop an emotional one first. And what we have is wonderful!
                That is so true!

It really is. Before I realized I had fallen in love, I was certain that purplepirate was my best friend.

Please let these six days pass quickly! Then let the next five be long and slow.
