Hello all :]
For quite some time now I've been searching for a "forum" to join and be apart of. I never found one. So I spent my online time doing things with my babe(I will tell you more about us in a minute). I stumbled across this site(www.lovingfromadistance.com) on my cell phone actually, I haven't had access to the internet for quite some time and always just used my cell. I kinda skimmed through the site, and closed it. I kept coming back on occasion, something just kinda drew me to this site. Tonight I decided I would join and try it out. I'm not at all new to forums, just this site. I hope to make some new friends, share my experiences and hear about others. I'm extremely glad to know that I'm not the only one who is completely in love but fighting the worse feeling in the world, being so far apart!
My name is Heather. I'm 22, currently residing in Oregon. I met the love of my life a little over 2 years ago! It was actually very unexpected and shocking to me. I have been playing on Yahoo! Pool for about 8 years now(6 when this happened!). I've played in several different "leagues" and had just started participating in "inter-leagues" which is league vs league. Jason was an admin in this particular inter-league and I had 2 different questions, on 2 different days, both times I for some reason sent him an IM looking for the answers to my questions. Btw, we had never talked before I had sent him those messages. We had been in the same league together previously and my picture happened to be on their site. He claims he thought I was beautiful but never had the guts to IM me or acknowledge me. (I had never been called beautiful before him.) One time, in band camp..(lol, jk). I was playing for my league vs another league and happened to play Jason's brother, and lost. When I woke up the next morning I had a message saying. "Unlucky for yesterday" I messaged back with "?" and from there it was history!
I thought about writing about how we got to where we are today, but that's a lot of writing for me and reading for you. So I decided I'm going to leave it here.. maybe I'll post a blog or something later.
Anyways, I'm going to stop rambling.
I'm Heather I live in Oregon. My love is Jason and he lives in England.
