I'm from Wiltshire, England in a relationship with my SO who lives in Illinois, USA. She recently joined here and so I thought it might help if I did too.
I'm 34 with three children from two previous relationships which is pretty much the only reason I'm not currently moving heaven and earth to get over to the states. We've got a long road ahead of us but this is aided by the fact that we were friends for a few years before we became involved (I was married) so we know each other incredibly well.
We've only been together a couple of weeks and the relationship started during a visit she paid me, and then she had to return home, so joyous and then so sad
This is all very new to me and I have no illusions that this is not going to be tough but I know she's worth it.
