    Another obligatory introduction

    Hi all.

    He's in New York, I'm in London. Been together about a year and a half.

    Been lurking for a few weeks, generally just browsing and keeping myself to myself, and I've found a lot of the threads on here really useful.

    I'm also amazed, amused and comforted by the fact that many of the precise ups and downs my LDR has gone through is mirrored in other relationships like it all across the world.

    Hooray for feeling a little less like an absolute nutjob all the time.

                      Most folks will tell you that you have to be a little off in order to even consider a long-distance relationship. Especially when you meet online. But those of us in the know understand that you can't help who you love.
