Hello everyone, I just joined the site today, as starting today I am officially in a long distance relationship. I'm a 25 year old in a 10 month relationship. I just moved from Texas (where my SO is) to New Jersey. My SO came with me for the trip and stayed a week or so while I got situated and she just left this morning. Is it ridiculous that I'm already overwhelmed by sadness about it?
I'm in NJ for a 1 year position, with the intent of moving back to Texas afterwards (though there are some complications with that to be explained another day). I'm just trying to prepare myself for the challenge of maintaining our relationship in such a way that we both are ready for that step at the end of a year.
