I'm only doing this cause I wasn't really an active poster on the old forum, but I'm gonna make a bit more of an effort this time round hehe
My SO is Tanja, she's on here too and she's very lovely indeed
I'm from Wales (which is it's own country as part of the UK, and is next to, not in, England :P ) and she's from Finland. We met over 2 years ago playing online poker, and as time went by we eventually fell in love with each other. We first met in person in December 2008, then we spent a week together in February 2009, then a month together over Easter and 2 months in ths ummer. We were lucky enough to spend almost 4 weeks together over Christmas too. Tanja hasn't been able to come over here yet, though we're hoping that will change either over Easter this year, or if not then definitely in the summer. I can't wait!
Easyjet are starting cheap flights from Manchester to Helsinki in a couple of week time too, so that should make things much easier and more affordable for us too, which is great news!
I'm in my final year of a Maths degree at Uni and I'll probably be going over there for most of the summer again, although we'll probably be seeing each other again over Easter too with a bit of luck, well, even without a bit of luck cause I aint waiting any longer than I have to to see her again
After that we don't really have any concrete plans in place, although we're hoping a member of my family might be able to help me land a job not too far from where Tanja lives which would solve a lot of our problems and help bring our LDR days to an end. I can't wait for that day...
So that's us, or me at least, it's great to be here
