Hi girls! Sorry I saw the thread just now! I'd love to join in! My So probably wont make it as we don't get to see each other very often but I'd like to come!!!

I'd prefer meeting somewhere in the 'middle' haha Stuttgart, Frankfurt, Mainz, Wiesbaden ... all of those are relatively close to me! I might be able to make it to Berlin as well (I'll be up there several times in 2012 to visit the archives). Everywhere with a central train station (I don't have a car) that isn't too far away (as I also don't have a whole lot of money) would be great!

Time: As of now I am relatively flexible

@Dziubka: Where do you live? I think we ight actually live very close to each other!!!

Ahaha, Stuttgart isn't exactly 'in the middle' I think if we want some geographically central city it would be Göttingen or Erfurt?

My boyfriend and I are also planning to go to Ukraine some time in April probably and we'll most likely spend easter in Poland, so that's definitely a bad date.
We're going to be in Dresden for at least a week in March, though. And then from April on we'll both live in Germany so I guess we can make it.

I'll totally make my boyfriend go, but be warned: he doesn't speak a lot of English (poor boy).

@Anna: Lorenz and I totally agree about staying in a budget!

For all: if you want to come to Berlin (well, you know it's well connected!) we can get organized with sleeping beds and mattresses on the floor. it's not exactly a 5 start solution, but we should fit! I also know there is an hostel for 10€ close to the Zoo!

In general, weekends work better because of university/work. Is anyone else interested in joining us in the capital? The best weekends for me are 10-11 and 17-18.
Of course, we can also organize something else in another city for April/May!

I was so excited about our meet up (it all started as me/Kiara's idea)
Unfortunately I don't think I will traveling to Germany around March/April, but I'll let you guys know in case things change.

But yeah, the idea of meeting in march just popped up because Anna is being in Berlin. We can still organize something for May, if you think to come to Germany by that time!

Ohh you girls!
I want to come. I haven't been in Berlin for longer than a few minutes for years.
But at this point Olek and I have no idea where we'll be in March. 10/11 is the weekend of his mum's birthday, so if we'll be together (which we don't know yet), we'll be in Warsaw (there's a direct train from Berlin though I'd invite you to her party)

17/18 is more possible, but as we don't know where my boyfriend will end up studying we can't make any plans right now.

@Dziubka: Lorenz and I are planning to go to Warsaw too!!! We know about the train: it's just 5h30 and it costs 34€ with the student discount! That's so good!!! I have a close friend from my Erasmus there. She visited us for NYE and now we have to decide when visiting her. It would be ilarious to meet in Poland, ahahah We might go at mid March or at the end of April. We didn't choose anything yet.

About Berlin, maybe you can make it for the 17/18. Let's see, let's see!
