Hmm we're about equal I think, we're better than each other in different subjects. He's great with computers, where as I'm so horrible I could probably accidentally set mine on fire. He's better with things such as math, where as I think i'm probably better at sciences. He's smarter than me school-wise, however, since he's 2 years ahead of me in school. And I just know a lot of random facts, and I defiantly read a lot more.

We're probably equally as intelligent as the other, but I think our areas of interest differ. He's very street smart, and creative, and knows how to fix things. He knows a lot about technology. I love to read the news and read up on random facts. I like to keep myself updated on current world events (I don't like feeling ignorant to things). I often research the most random shit in my time, I don't even know why. LOL. I finished high school and he didn't, but I wouldn't say that it makes me smarter. I didn't pass with flying colours or anything (in fact I barely made it). He often knows stuff that I don't, and vice versa. It's nice because we can teach each other things so we're both informedLast edited by Zapookie; January 13, 2012, 09:50 PM.

I would say that he is for sure the smarter one of the two though. He knows a lot of things, and is really good at math and science. He reads a loooott, and is interested in politics so I guess that covers the four major subjects: math, science, social studies, and english. jaja! I on the other hand, am terrible at all 4. :P

This is a tough one since technically we both have 'genius' IQ's. However I would say its him, simply because he seems to know more than I do. IQ is simply an ability to learn, and unfortunately the guy who went to uni for Physics wins because he learned more! He had a lot of random knowledge on everything it seems, and I....well...don't. The subjects I know a lot on I know a lot on (animals and medical stuff)....but the rest, nope. He says I am smart and I felt like it before I met him, then I realized I am just smarter than the average bear but not 'smart' compared to people like him!

He always tells me that I'm smarter than him because I do better in school, but I disagree. I think he's just as smart as I am, if not more so, but he just doesn't apply himself! If he would work harder and not procrastinate I'm certain his gpa would be higher than mine (we're both engineering students).

He's smarter than me in pretty much everything except technology. I can unlock phones, fix computers set up TV's and what not whereas he didnt know what an LCD TV was. I'm pretty clued up on UK consumer rights but that doesn't count as he's Canadian and has no need to know that kind of thing.... yet.As long as there is air in my lungs... there is a chance

I honestly cannot think of one area that I'm better at than my boyfriend. He loves to read, and loves to learn. I, on the other hand, don't really pay attention to things. As in I get lost easily and don't read people very well. When it comes to school...he is a lot more hardworking than I am, and so does better.

We've agreed to disagree on that XD
Overall I think he's more smart on life experiences and practical stuff. He's always good at coming up with plans and figuring things out.
Where I'm the more book smart type. Trying to prove arguments based on facts I have read somewhere XD
I think together we're a pretty smart combi.

When I met my SO in high school his life's ambition was to be a bum and not do anything, haha, while I was on my way to college. He quickly decided that he actually wanted money in life and started to play catch up to me. He eventually transferred into my college and is now pursuing his Ph.D. We tend to argue over who's graduate school is better but its a never-ending argument. I sometimes think I have more street smarts and I am able to work quicker. He is also very smart but it takes him longer to pick up on things and get work done.

If you go by numbers, my SO is technically smarter. His IQ is 140-150 and mine is 128. We both have our strong points as far as smarts and we have weak points. He is very technically minded and mathematically smart. I am better at writing and science. We are both equally street smart and we both have good heads on our shoulders.

I think my SO is more book smart than me, and definitely retains information faster than I can. He is that annoying kid that aces tests without studying and does great on standardized testing with no issue. He is an incredible musician at several different instruments. But he doesn't have a whole lot of everyday knowledge (he can NOT get the hang of even basic cooking techniques etc.) that most people are at least decent at. He is INCREDIBLY intelligent but I think his biggest downfall is the fact that he thinks he knows everything and it often backfires on him... He is that person who is ridiculously talented at a few select skills and mediocre in other.
I am definitely intelligent too, but in a different way. I speak several languages and graduated college with highest honors, have lived abroad and am very street smart. I am also a talented athlete, something that my SO is not at all. I love to learn new things and have no problem asking for guidance or help while doing so... which ultimately leads to me being pretty good at said activity. I am the person who is proficient to good in many activities, but don't have the overwhelming success in a few certain areas that he does. I think we're both smart in different ways.

We both are smart in different way.
My man is smart in logic, math, computer stuff and IT stuff, calculation, cooking.
I'm smart in ahem.. all other things from above, lol.
But in general, my SO is a lot of smarter than me. He always help me with math thingy which I hate by heart..
