Where do you leave or hide your note before you leave your SO's place?

I leave a small note to say "I love you", "thank you" or a kind of short messages before I come back from my SO's place.
I often hide it in a bag of coffee beans in a fridge because I know he will open the bag in the afternoon after my depature We enjoy it as a kind of the game.
Now I am wondering there are any other "good" places to hide a note...

Please let me know your case if you leave or hide such messages in your SO's place?

My boyfriend lives with his parents so I'd feel akward about hiding them anywhere outside his room (between plates, coffee beans, etc).
In his room I hide them
      - sock/underwear drawer
      - pockets of his shirts
      - under the computer mouse
      - in books/dictionaries I know he's going to use
      - in his school materials
      - in his bed
      - in the wallet he has for his keys

Być tam, zawsze tam, gdzie Ty.

It's tough for me to leave him notes because he lives in a dorm room with a roommate, so I'd have to hide it in a not painfully obvious place, but also I would have to put it some place where I know he'd look but his roommate wouldn't. I was going to create a quest for him before I left on Sunday, but I had no time where he left the room to do anything. I was going to make a note for him and give it to him at the airport but tell him to open it when he gets back to the dorm. Then, in the note would be a clue like "look under the futon", and under the futon I'd have a post-it that says "look in the fridge" and then another and so on until I ran out of spots and each would lead to another place. The last one would tell him to look under his pillow and then I would leave a card under there for him. I'll probably do this the next time I go visit, but I will write it all out before I go visit, then I'll stick them there the last day at some point.

Last time he visited I flipped through his school binders and scribbled little I love you or I miss yous on random lined pages.

I hid them in his shoes or in his coffee because I know he'll read them. Another place I like to hide them is in his lunch

I've hid them in pockets of his jeans, under his pillows, I've taped them to the ceiling before, pretty much everywhere haha. The first time I did it, I slipped it in his car and he called me while driving home and was so happy because he was really starting to feel the distance and it made him think of me. It's such a sweet thing to do.

Last time I put a note in his weekly planner, knowing he would look sometime during class the next day, but I have also hid stuff with a bunch of stuffed animals or on his pillow but under the blankets.

We don't really do this regularly, but I remember a month or two after I visited him for a month, I looked through my notes on my ipod touch and he typed in a text penis.

Thank you for lots of ideas!

A note by the light will be romantic. A "clue note" idea is interesting for me. My SO will like it. The idea in the pockets of his clothes may be dangerous for my SO. I think he washes it with my note before he finds :-)

I've only done this once. A couple of days before we went long distance, I wrote a really long letter and hid it in one of my drawers in the closet. The day I left I pretended to go make the bed and put it under his pillow. When I was getting on the plane I text him that I loved him and he should look under his pillow when he got home, because I was worried for some reason he wouldn't find it or it would fall behind the bed...

I can't believe I've never thought to do this! What a sweet idea. Perhaps I'll slip a note in his guitar case, or leave it in the fridge on top of his favourite yoghurt. Or maybe I'll stick a cheeky one on the underside of his toilet seat... the possibilities are endless, haha

He's slipped little notes into my bag before, and one time he took some weird funny pictures of himself on my camera knowing I wouldn't see them till after he left.

One time I found a little horse figurine (those kid's toys) in my house. I printed and stuck his face on it, then snuck it onto his bedside table before I left. It was totally weird but quite funny :P That could be an idea if you and your SO like to be weird like me :P
