The realisation you need to change things!

I was just looking into alternatives to being able to see my SO (for future reference) and it looks like I'm going to need to get off my ass and apply for a passport, this is difficult because now we have to get a British Citizen of such status sign it, this sucks bad!

I need one anyway as I want a form of identity that nobody can refuse me when I want to drink however it's dawning on me more now than ever I really need on.

This is just a rant about the pains it will be just to get a passport. Why can't it be simple!

He, yeah i understand. Thankfully it's pretty easy to get a passport in Sweden.
But i feel the same. Like i need to get my butt off the chair and start prepping. It's either 55 or 69 days, really depends, until i'll move to US. And well the sooner i'm mentally and physically prepared the better.

Getting someone to sign it shouldn't be hard. You can ask a teacher or your GP or other people in such positions. =)

It's actually difficult, I can't go back to collehe as they hated me so why would they help me as for GP it costs £40/£50 for a signiture, shocking right?

I would ask my uni lecturer as I get on with them however I've not known them long enough. It sucks as all I want is this one thing to be sorted.

If you're religious, then a religious leader can sign it. It's a great reason to believe haha

GP = general practitioner, or regular doctor

I had to get my visa application stuff signed by a JP (justice of the peace) and I assume you're going through a similar equivalent for your country. It's surprising how many people have the kind of authority you're looking for. You might find someone down at the local courthouse who can do it for you... do you need to have know the person for a set period of time?
Happily married to the little Canadian boy I never thought I'd meet in person
