    I'M DIVORCED AT LAST!! BRING ON THE WEDDING!

    Finally got my Decree absolute this morning, i am 100% free to marry my SO now!

    It's taken 18 months to get this little piece of paper and i couldn't be happier!

    My Ex husband tried all sorts to delay it but it's finally all over.
    As long as there is air in my lungs... there is a chance

        MASSIVE!
        I spoke to my lawyer last week and she said i might not get it through in time to get married in september like we hoped (Apparently, i have to be divorced for 51 days before i can remarry in Alberta). So i decided to do a little research and filed myself today and got it granted in an hour.

        My SO posted it on facebook before i had chance and he's just asked me to marry him again via blackberry messenger as im free to accept legally now lol

            Congratulations! I know what a relief this is for you. I'm glad i wasn't the only one going through this... it sucks! Mine should be over in about another 4 months. No other plans in the works but just a huge sense of relief coming.

              Even though you've ended the relationship, you still feel tied... atleast i did. I finally feel free, no more waiting on other people IM in charge again. Wishing you all the best in getting yours sorted out.

                      Congrats!!! I'm in a similar situation myself, but I have to wait 201 days to even file for divorce. I'm glad there's light at the end of the tunnel. So excited for you!!!
