    So long for now.

    So I went down from Ottawa with my friend so she can go to her SO's prom and I could see my so in Toronto.
    And long story short both of our SOs broke up with us.

    For those of you that have seen my recent posts you know that our relationship was on the rocks and I've had a while to come to terms with this. I feel that we were what we needed at the time but are now in a situation where we just can't be together anymore (not just cause of the distance though). I realize that she's just no who she used to be and this is probably for the better. Even my friend I went down with said that she's treating me like crap and I don't deserve this. I'm not as sad as I thought I would be, I've given it my best and I'm ready to move on myself.

    Anyways I'd like to thank all you guys for the help. Everyone here on LFAD really helped me learn and cope with my situation and that meant a lot. I may still pop back every once and a while and who knows, maybe I'll be LDR again someday. Until then thanks to everyone for all the help and advice.

              A very mature post on your part and a hard decision to make, but sometimes it is for the best. You do deserve the best life has to offer and that goes for SO's too. Good luck going forward and know that someone wonderful is out there looking for you to find them. It will happen

                              Thanks Ale, and best of luck with your situation. I know its hard. I've had some pretty harsh breakups before. Time heals all wounds.
