as some of you may know my fiance has some serious health issues- a pinched nerve in his back from November that has YET to be treated (insurance won't approve a special test so the surgeon knows where he'll need to operate- yet they approved his seeing the surgeon- wtf?); and now all of these severe problems with his heart. tonight he finds out that his employer, whom he's been with for years, closed up the business last Monday. he claimed he told my fiance in an email but he didn't. so now my fiance can barely move, can't drive, is sweating like crazy (because of his heart issues), can't work because of his health issues (he was working from home online), and now is unemployed. and, because he is a prime candidate to have a heart attack, he cannot stress out about things. I'm flying down in 13 days to spend the summer with him. I feel like when I see him he's going to be a broken man. he just can't catch a break! every day he's getting some kind of bad news. thanks for letting me vent.

Having you there will no doubt ease his stress about some of those things, and will remind him that they'll be easier to deal with and that he can find solutions. There's power in numbers and even more in love. I'd bet he's just counting the hours until his saving grace is with him.Comment
