At the very beginning of July I will have finished my exams and start the longest summer of my life. I have until the beginning of October before I start university and me and my girlfriend's relationship will become an LDR.
At the present I have no money and a job waiting for me which I took a break from while my exams are on. I want to spend lots of time with my friends and going out and living my life to the full during my life's biggest gap of freedom. Most of all I want to spend it with my girlfriend before we go seperate ways. I need to work to have money so there could be a few days a week gone and seeing friends might be a day or two a week depending on when I work and all the other time will hopefull be spent with my girl.
She is going on holiday with her family for at least 3 weeks. Her parents won't allow us to go on holiday at all otherwise we would have been going to Tenerife and Barcalona which I could have booked months ago when I had the money so now we have no chance of going abroad except in the car to France (by carferry).
She drives and we live in Warrington (northwest England about half way between Liverpool and Manchester). Her parents don't allow her to sleep at my house or me at hers and they wouldn't allow us to have a weekend away even somewhere in this country or anything like that either.
So we are kind of limited in respect of travel and doing things that last all night. In terms of money I am basically broke because I used the money I would have spent on us going on holiday (only about £600) on taking us out to meals, taking us bowling, swimming, cinema, picnics and buying her stuff like teddies and books and for christmas 2009 I bought her a £80 ring and a teddy and chocs and a load of books (she loves reading) and for her 18th birthday in April 2010 I got her a £180 necklace locket thing (I have no clue about jewelery :P). So yeah that's why I'm broke
Things I wanted to do over summer that require time and/or money are: work to save up some money for when I go to university, save up money for a promise ring for when we go LDR, go to see a play with her (I love plays but have never seen one in a theater and she has many times with her parents and always tells me that it's awesome), go to see a live concert with friends or girlfriend or both (never been to one, always wanted to, either never have money and when I do I need/want something else more or parents wouldn't let me), do some volunteer work for charity, get my driving license (I know how to drive but cannot afford the test which costs loads!), do some pepakura art works (costs money and time to buy speciality paper and fibreglass resin and safety equipment).
Any ideas of what else I could do?
