Watching movies and TV shows with your SO while on Skype, phone, etc...

When I went to go meet my SO for the first time, we were so exhausted at the end of each day from walking and touring everywhere in her home city that when we got back to the hotel, we just wanted to relax. She had been bugging me to start watching Game of Thrones and even though she's seen every episode already, we started watching the first season together every night I was with her.

Now that I'm home, we can't do that...and I miss very badly having her next to me. I am definitely hooked on the series now, but I didn't want to continue watching it without her...it just didn't feel right. So (last night actually) while on the phone and playing Yahoo Pool together, I suggested (after beating her 6/7 times :P) that we watch Game of Thrones together while on the phone. She was pretty excited about it and I was so surprised at how close it made me feel to her. We weren't even talking...just some subtle reactions every now and then to the scenes, some laughs, giggles, etc... I really enjoyed it, and I'm sure she did too...

What are some of your stories for watching movies or tv shows together and how did it get started?

Yes, lol my SO and I watch movies over the phone quite frequently. That reminds me a lot of him and myself because I am constantly recommending movies to him. Like yourself, i feel elated to be able to have movie "dates" with my SO even though I can't physically be with him and it all started one day when I was watching Billy Madison when he called. He decided he was going to put it on as well and he synced it up exactlyyy lol. From there it was like rolling thunder because we are constantly watching movies "together."
