Skype question?

I know you can webcam, and talk as well. I'm not sure really how that works. I really wanted to know if it works like MSN, where you can type, etc? MSN can be a pain sometimes, due it messing from then and now. Can you save conversations?(lol, I save them sometimes just to read then and now) I know this is suppose to be in the techy area, but I'm not sure if anyone would read it there thanks again .

Yes, you can type on Skype. It also automatically saves your conversations for you.

You can also take pictures of each other if both of you have webcams

And you can record conversations with certain add ons if you want to go back to them later

It's exactly like MSN except you can also video chat. People log in and are "away" or "online" and yes, you can save your conversations. Which I also like to do :P

It works just like msn but we use gchat also and seems to have a better experience. Skype acts one at times for us..

and you can share your desktop as well which we just found out. It is awesome as you can watch videos together that way and browse the internet together. We had a blast doing that the other night

It's how I managed to share so many pictures with my daughter when we were separated by distance. Share screen is a wonderful function.

If you're SO is state side google voice let's you get a free us number to make phone calls and text for free just another source to catch them when you can't Skype. Skype is also integrated into Facebook these days so if you have that you can also use it there as well!!
