I've had past experiences with ex's that the first meet did not click well, but with my SO it was different since our technical first meet was when I flew tackled him at an anime convention cause he was dressed as squall (I swear I thought he saw me coming lol) but our first meet as a couple was really nice. Though I was at work and he came with a friend and they had to try to hide and we had to behave ourselves so I wouldn't get in trouble lol.

You know, I have heard more good stories about the 1st meeting than bad!
For my 1st one i was nervous as hell.
In fact I didn't want to meet with him because he's a lil younger than me and to me it was a 'no go'.
But we met....
Damn this i fall so hard for him!
1st few hours were a lil weird cuz we are both shy.
But then... we talked more and more and got closer and closer.
It did connect on all levels.
Now I can't let go of him : )

Nope...My first meeting with my SO was awesome...In fact we just celebrated being together 1 year last month!!!

Our first meet was perfect but our second trip, where she came up to Canada, was a little rougher. Not because we didn't get along but because everything was just going wrong. I got really sick just as she got in, then gave it to her. My dog got sick too. Then she got an eye infection. I Took her out to a fancy dinner we sat on the patio and got eaten alive by mosquitos. We spent most of the trip between the Vet and the drug store. Oh and the weather sucked. I felt so bad that everything was just going wrong but she reassured me that it was perfect because we were together and we were there to take care of each other, which was oddly nice.
