    Good News thread :)

    Yes I know we get a few of these but some are pretty old. So I figured Id make a fresh one, I hope thats okay.

    Today Robert got his tickets to come here, tomorrow I go book our hotel and I'll pick him up friday ( well my brother will because I cant drive lol )
    Tomorrow I'm also having luch with a good friend of mine, then another interview at three, then at six I have oreintation at a different place ( not the same place I'll be having the interview tomorrow, I had the interview for the place where I have oreintation ( tomorrow ) today. )

    I'm hoping oreintation means I got the job, at most places it does but I suppose it varies from place to place.

    I am so happy things are looking up for me, ever since my mom passed its been kinda hard to be hopeful and positive and not worry about everything.
    But now it seems things may be getting better.

    What awesome good news do you have to share?

    I'm booking flights this week.... Christmas with my fella, so excited!

      My birthday is this coming Monday! And one of my best friend's birthday is in two days so we're kinda all getting together, me and my SO, and my two best friends (who happen to be married to each other so that helps lol) are all spending the weekend together. I'm turning 21 so it's kind of a big one for me
      Other than that, I'm just looking forward to Thanksgiving which is coming up quick. Holidays are the best news ever!

        It was previously looking like our plans for my SO to come visit in January and then for me to fly back with him(for good) weren't going to go as planned due to airfare prices. But we found some dates that may work!! It's still very expensive but more doable than the rest of the month. I'm really hoping we can get him here, I think it'll help my family to say goodbye if they see he cares enough to personally come and escort me over. And then he can meet everyone he hasn't yet too!

        Second visit: 9/12/12
        Closed the distance: 1/26/13!!!

          I'm surprising my SO with a visit on Thursday (2 days!) and he hasn't found out yet! I'm so proud of myself - normally I can't keep a secret from him.

          Became a couple: March 17th, 2010
          Started our college long distance relationship: August 2011
          Surprise engagement in Disneyworld! : March 22nd, 2013
          Closed the distance: May 2nd, 2014
          Became his wife and started our happily ever after!: May 17th, 2014

            Well last week I finally received my passport.... which means we can both fly over to the US and visit his family! woohoo.

                  This is not relationship good news it's more life good news.... I'm on my teaching prac at the moment my first one and 2 weeks into it I've been offered a job!!!!! So happy and I've even got another year to go but still yay happy to know I'm good enough that schools want me

                    I just checked Air France's website and apparently the tickets from my hometown to Helsinki are much much cheaper than they used to be :P

                        As soon as I came home from visiting him, he made plans to fly me out again! I was so surprised, but ridiculously happy- late December is SO much closer than May! 40 daaaays!

                          My SO got a call from one of the jobs he applied to near me. He is getting interviewed during his visit next week!
