To Buy Or Not To Buy?

My SO is back at school and he won't be home again until the end of February. I really want to visit him in between then and now, so I've been price hunting. I did talk to him about visiting before he went back and he said that we'll work it out. All the tickets for the entire month are extremely cheap, but there's one weekend that works well for me because it is right at the halfway point of us being apart! January 31- February 3. It's $55 per ticket each way! Yes, you heard that right. It's that cheap almost every weekend. During the week it is $49! I can't go during the week though because of school. Anyway, I haven't had a chance to talk to my SO about it yet, and the tickets are non-refundable. So, do I take the chance booking them now before I talk to him or should I wait and talk to him first? I am so eager to buy them because they are so cheap, but I know this same deal will probably pop up again next Tuesday afternoon too so I won't totally miss out if I wait. But, if they are already bought, and are non-refundable, then I can be like "hey, look, these tickets were super cheap, I couldn't pass them up. So, I'll be coming up late on the 31st." Sort of a surprise-ish thing.

I'm probably late to the party. But I agree with all the others. Buy!!!

It's only a weekend and if he needs to study you can give him some time.

I'm usually a cautious person but for not a lot of money and a potential weekend with a loved one then I'd say go for it! Though I guess you might have already decided.... What did you choose?!
