    New plans

I've made a really huge diction tonight, and it depends on a lot of things that haven't happened yet but if all goes as planned im moving to Kansas city to be with/live with Daniel while he finishes he schooling. In a little over a year though so i can finish my business certificate. He's going to the Aviation Technical School at the end up next month which is going to take at least four years to complete and neither of us can handle long distance for that long. After that he wants to move us back to new england. So, AAHHHH I really hope things go well. The apartments we've seen are within walking distance to the school and shops, which is good.

This will be my first time moving anywhere as i still live with my parents. Any tips? Any legal things i'd need to take care of when the time comes? I'm shaking so im nervous and excited haha .

Awwww congrats! That sounds very exciting and I hope everything goes as planned for you
I don't know about legal things in the US when you move. Germany is pretty simple. We just move and then register with the town as a new resident.

I moved to a different state in Australia and I didn't even need to do anything.

                Awesome! Congratulations!

In the US, moving is pretty simple. Nothing really HAS to happen. You are supposed to have a driver's license in the state you live in(if you have one), but it isn't totally necessary. My SO has lived in Alabama for almost three years now, and has had a Georgia license the whole time. Taxes are a different story. Your state income taxes could be kind of complicated if you earn income in two different states during the year. So I'd suggest getting help on your taxes for that year. If you do earn income in your current state, make sure they either have your updated address or get your parents to send along your W2 when it comes. But all of that doesn't have to be dealt with until tax time, really. Moving is pretty basic. Getting your address changed can be annoying, but only if a lot of people have your address and need to keep in touch. When your old address is your parents and not jut some apartment, you can still get your stuff if someone sends it to the old place.
