I finally told my parents...

Today I told my mom about Daniel. Those that are close to us on this site know that this was a huge deal for me. I wrote them a letter last night and left it for them to read this morning. Thankfully, my mom came to me and she was actually excited for me, that'd i'd finally found somebody who meant this much to me and somebody who treats me so good.

We both cried when I told her how he's always there for me through my anxiety, he stays up when I have a bad night to make sure he can be there if I have a nightmare.

I called his grandmother and she got to talk to both of them and everything is just...better than I expected.

Its just a huge weight off of my shoulders, and one step further to us being together forever.

Great! When I told all my family, they were a lot more supportive than they I imagined they would have been. There are some doubts, which I guess I can understand, but they don't try and stop me from doing what I want to do. It's really a weight off my shoulders that I can talk about the person I love so comfortably around them now and they treat it as if I am talking about just any other person.
