    EuroFlorist?

    Hey guys,

Have you ever had flowers delivered from EuroFlorist (https://www.euroflorist.com/)? Or do you have any floral services to recommend for sending flowers to the Netherlands (I live in Canada)?

At first, I thought it was a better idea to somehow contact a local florist, but I do not really do much online shopping/ or anything to do with giving my information out on the phone and I am even more sketched out to be giving my credit card information over the phone to a company that may or may not be reputable.

The deal is that even though it is far in advance of Valentine's Day, I wouldn't be able to shop for a gift for my boyfriend until the weekend and it could potentially take a couple weeks or more for the parcel arrive--it would be way past when I would like it to be there. To top that off, it is ridiculously expensive to send even a small package to him there (it was bad enough when he lived in the USA, but now this is just too much!)--I might as well use that cost towards the flowers or something cool. So, I can't really think of anything else I could do that would get there quickly. As an aside, I am nervous about ordering flowers for him, because he often sends me this very elaborate bouquets and I don't really have the budget to live up to that!

Anyhow, I am babbling, but I will mail him a card and that, I hope, will arrive on time.

I don't have any experience with the one you listed. I'd be wary though, my SO used Flora Queen once and the flowers never got delivered, he had to get reimbursed by Paypal as they ignored his complaints. The one that did work for us was Interflora, they're a bit on the pricey side but reliable and the flowers are beautiful. They work with local florists so it's all fresh.

Haha, I'm also from Holland, what a coincidence I don't have any experience with the website but I do know that flowers here are super cheap compared to any online store or any other country. So if you want to save money a local shop would be your best shot! If you want, I can look some good ones up and just contact me if you need any help

Hello! I'm also in Canada and ordered flowers for my partner. I contacted a florist in her city through a site called bloemen something. I forget the name...the flowers were delivered smoothly and quickly. They were beautiful. Let me try to find the site I used!

There we go!! They were very helpful and my SO got her flowers quickly, but then again there were a lot of florists in her city (Rotterdam). Good luck!!

Hi everyone! Sorry to take so long to respond, but I don't seem to have a lot of time on the computer lately and Valentine's Day is really sneaking up. I talked to the local florist here. She said she could arrange a delivery there, but it is a $100 service fee (before any flowers or delivery charges) and that it would be much better to find a shop there. She said to Google ones near to where he lives and make sure they have a physical address. I was glad she was so honest!

Anyway, I have done a little research and here are a few that I came up with: Jemi https://jemibloe.bloemplein.nl/, Flowertime https://www.flowertime.nl/, and Amsterdamflora https://amsterdamflora.nl/page/538/. There were some others, but they seemed more like over-priced boutique type places or were further away. Do you have any ideas if these prices seem decent and if these places are sketch or okay? I like that the bigger sites have secure connections, but I am not sure that these do. The florist advised that I not go through big sites, as they will tack on a big service charge and won't actually be the florists...but that might be better than going through an unreliable connection.

@lmfaomarie--Hmmn, that's a good recommendation. Did you find the prices reasonable and were the flowers nice?

                How about this one? https://www.bellaflora.nl/shop/
They're connected to euroflorist as well, prices look good and it's a real store. They make their bouquets themselves.

The ones that you found are all good and reliable, connected to a national rating organisation for flowers. But they are a little on the expensive side, so you'll have to decide how much you want to spend and you're good with all of them

This one looks good too https://amberflora.com/shop/

Thanks! I didn't see those ones on Google, for some reason. Bellaflora looks really nice and I am glad you sent me some with more reasonable price options (for similar bouquets). I'm still a bit nervous about ordering online, but I guess I will have to make my choice pretty soon! I am also nervous about when and how they will deliver the flowers. He is at work until late some days and then, when he is at home, he lives on the second floor and the buzzer doesn't work properly. I guess giving his phone number will sort things out, hopefully.

It seems like he has a sixth sense and/ or is stalking my posts, because he was talking about flowers today, out of no where (in fact, some roses he had purchased for me when I visited and how it was interesting to watch them wilt, but that he guessed he had to throw them away. Maybe he is just hinting he would like some more?).

The prices were great. 30€ for a large bouquet of sunflowers. There were a lot of filler, but that's because they tried delivering twice and my SO wasn't around, so she had to pick them up. Very helpful customer service though. I recommend them They spoke decent English and my SO's doorbell was broken too. But yeah...they're cheap and wonderful, if you give them delivery times, they'll try to deliver at that time.

Best part is they (I think) apparently find the florist, and the prices are always the same. At least they were for me :P

That's great news! This time, I ordered from BellaFlora, but next time I might try out the company you suggested. I hope all goes well!
