How often do you and your SO talk/text/Skype?

we mail all day tru and sometimes i tex him just for fun

We talk three times a day via skype..On his 10am break for twenty minutes, 2pm break for ten minutes and then when he gets off work at 4.30pm and that's usually for around three to five hours depending if I can stay awake until then. We don't text because our phones don't allow us too, but we email each other every day too....So I feel very lucky...

it depends on how busy we are, can be just a few messages each day, or can be several hours on skype, but we communicate everyday.

I am far luckier than most on here and I still don't feel it's enough sometimes, we talk 3 times a day:

We wake same time 6am for me / 1pm for her - talk for about 2 - 2.5 hours while we get ready for work etc.
Call on my lunch 1:30pm for me / 8:30pm for her - talk for 30mins
Call when we finish work 5/6pm for me / midnight for her - talk for 3-4 hours until once of us falls asleep.

This goes for everyday, and some days we do Skype, but I still miss her like hell, call her from work while I go to the toilet for a quick couple of minutes chat etc, can't wait to see her soon.

Usually for an hour or so after I get home from work, we'll chat on GoogleTalk, we only text or call if there's something really important going on.

It depends on the week. Some weeks we will talk every day, whether on the phone or video chat. Other weeks we'll be lucky if we talk at all. We always text throughout the day when we can, though. (I can text more than he can, because of his work.)

We talk everyday. We both get home around the same time so, we talk from then until he goes to bed about 2-3 hours later. Occasionally we'll text when he's on his lunch break at work but, that's not often.

We Skype every day, for how long and for how much of that time we actually talk varies... He usually gets home aroun 7 pm my time, so then we talk, but every now and then he gets home 9 pm or even at my midnight, so depending on when he gets home we talk up to 3 hours every weekend. I usually get up at his 5 am, when I wake him up (if ever succesful) when we chat for about 10 minutes... That's in weeks, at Saturdays my SO is in school and I sometime work, and we mostly go out or spend time with our families in evenings/afternoons both Saturday and Sunday... We use WhatsApp and Avocado during the day though, and it adds up to a fair amount of the total communication. If we have no net we usually send a text just to let the other know that we won't be able to mail or WA or whatever... Good contracts

We talk everyday. We don't have a set time cause neither of us has a fixed schedule, so we just talk whenever we both happen to be online. Some days we only talk for a few minutes, and some days we can talk for hours.

We skype everyday. And text eachother through viber all the time when we are not on skype or sleeping..

We are really lucky right now when it comes to communication, her classes are online so she's at home. We chat pretty much all day while I'm at work. That will change in the fall but that's ok because I don't want to be TOO spoiled. lol And we skype 30mins to an hour every night before bed.

Apparently im one of the odd ones out- We DON'T talk every day! I think I'd find it too much. I like having lots to say and every other day guarantees that. Gives us a chance to organise stuff around the days we are not speaking too. anyway when we talk its every other day for about three hours. We also try and communicate in some way everyday but this can literally be one or two messages on pair. We used to email but that's died down now really. At the weekends we spend at least one and often two days on Skype for 3-6 hours. Writing it down makes it seem too long in my mind but we often watch films and stuff hence why it's such a long time!

We're just about to go 10days without proper communication too as he's going in holiday!

We chat online every day for an average of 30 minutes to an hour. He calls me at least once, sometimes twice a day, in the afternoons for a few minutes and we Skype every night for an hour. We always bitch how we never get anything done around the house but it seems neither one of us wants to take a day off.

I agree with you totally. Talking to hubby for hours on end every day is a strain because not much happens between our chats. I would prefer to talk every other day because then we'd have more to talk about. I have tried discussing this option with him but he says he couldn't cope if we didn't speak every day. The reason is down to him living alone behind his work, without transport, so he gets bored quickly.
