My now-SO and I were sitting together after having been seeing each other for several months. He just sort of said, sweetly albeit a little awkwardly, "I'd like if you were my girlfriend." I agreed, and it was settled.

We were in the period of being interested and getting to know each other better (very romantic time), so texting and seeing each other everyday. Then I didnt hear from him at all for a few days, my texts weren't replied, I called and only heard the ringing, no answer... I realized I missed him so much and wrote him an email because somehow i thought he wanted to end it, I told him all about my feelings and thoughts, and said that I loved him but I would stop contacting him as he wished.

The fact is he went to Indonesia and his phone didnt roam that made my misunderstanding. He managed to talk online to me, didnt know i sent the email. I told him to not read it but delete it for me, but no way he would listen (!) He read it and was shocked a little since I said I would stop contacting him. I felt so embarrassed because of my over reacting. He said "I love you Thanh" (!!!) hehehe He asked me to wait for him to come back and not delete him from my life I was super happy, feeling like dancing in heart. So yes, we started officially like that... When he came back, he asked if I would like to live with him I agreed thinking I already had to see him everyday since we first met, so why not...

After that he had to leave Vietnam for work back home in Canada and here we are now, long distance missing each other, waiting for the day of moving in when he comes back !

We decided not to do LD because we didn't want that stress, and figured we'd just keep in touch and see where it went. We basically were doing the LD thing anyway, because we talked as often as possible and loved each other and were exclusive without actually establishing that we were.

When we saw each other again after I moved back home, I told him I wanted him to be my boyfriend, and I didn't think that it would change anything if we made things official. This is absolutely adorable! It's so cute. Oh, boys.... They are so cute.

I don't think we ever had a conversation about it... We met online and emailed a lot for a couple weeks, talked on the phone for a couple days, then had a date. On our first date, he asked what it felt like to fall in love and I said this. So, that was it, I guess. We both fell in love that day and we've never looked back.

Back in 1997, it took place over a phone conversation where he said he was falling for me and asked if I'd be willing to give us a chance.

This time, back in 2010, he came to visit me strictly as friends, and then not long after we got to my house, he kissed me and said he couldn't pretend anymore, that he was in love with me and wanted us to be together again.

We were both a part of an online chat group and one night some girl was flirting with him (this is after we had starting having cyber sex "one nighters") and he just blurted out that we were dating LOL When I logged on later that day everybody congratulated me and I was like "huh?"
