He calls me sweetie a lot.... and honey. Lots of flowery, sweet synonyms, he has a lot of words that he uses. He uses my name and has a very perticular way of pronouncing it; he makes the "a" very long. I think he has a very cute way of talking, I love hearing him say my name.
I call him love... and darling. Sometimes I feel that there are Norwegian words behind it. I have stuff in Norwegian that I don't really feel are translatable! A bit frustrating... Like this Norwegian word that literarily means "beloved" in English, but beloved would sound way too formal, that is why I day darling. And I would like to say something like "dear" (similar to the word that means boyfriend/girlfriend in Norwegian), but it is not special enough, that is why I say love instead. Darling and (my) love are the two English words that come closest to what I would say in my language. I call him by a shortening nickname, but is is just the same thing he and everybody else call him. I don't think I ever call him by his full name, maybe I have once or twice to get his attention.
I made love to him only twice, she thought and looked at the man laying asleep beside her. And yet still it is as if we have been together forever, as if he has always known my life, my soul, my body, my light, my pain

We mostly call each other babe, baby, nub (short for noob-- if you're a gamer, you might understand haha) and I occasionally call him things like 'my sweet baby'.
One HUGE reason he is my favorite. His nicknames for me since day one have been perfect.
These may seem silly and only a once in a while thing... but I swear everyday I hear a new one, and it ALWAYS makes me giggle.
As for set nick names? I am his Yammy (don't ask me how that started, it just stuck!) or Sugar Bear.
We always call each other really offensive British names, because it's funny. It started out as a joke, but now we will say them all the time Doyle, bellend, dafty, silly billy. Haha it works for us. I think if I called him babe he would slap me.
Edit: He wouldn't ever actually slap me…haha figure of speech.

He usually calls me Sweetheart or Beautiful, and then he's really into science, so every once in a while, he'll call me Kugelblitz (a term for a temperature that's so hot it pretty much defies the laws of physics.) :P Usually, I can take it when he texts me, but if he says anything like that to me in person, I ger super embarrassed and flustered. I've never been good at receiving compliments from guys, ahaha. :P
oh and I forgot... he calls me sunshine. Which must be ironic since I am not a happy morning face. Must remember to tell him...or not. I guess I make him happy enough even if I am not a morning person. I wish we had those sweet and special nicknames that couples give each other after some time. We are still in the phase of learning about favourite foods and various habits and all the rest. I am still very curious about him, it is like; I know I love him, I just don't know all the specifics. He does give himself nick names, though! Like: You can call me this!

I call him: Bubba, boo bear, handsome, bubble butt, monkey, papi and baby to name a few. He knows I am pissed with him when I call him by his first name. He hates for me to call him by his first name, says it's too formal for us.
He calls me: Baby, beautiful, mama, boo, sexy, love and Mrs. <his last name>
He calls me kitten, sweetie, beautiful, sexy, cutie, and baby. I refer to him as love love, handsome, sexy, baby, my everything, my world, my gamer baby, and my favorite (which I think he hates xD) is my sexy Swede/my sexy Swedish man. :P
@ miss_jaclynrae- LOL! Omg, that is ridiculously adorable
I seriously feel lame for how "normal" my nicknames for him are, but he is too good!
Todays consisted of "shuggy boo" and "pookalou" oh and on skype I heard a new one... "badooba"!!!
Lately we have been calling eachother bug, which is kind of weird haha I love it. Sometimes I say he is my "fluffy grey bug" or something along those lines. It's creepy picturing it though..imagine a fluffy grey bug like a giant beetle. x)
