Okay so in 36 days I will be flying down to New Mexico to visit my SO for 5 days.I'm super excited!! But I'm also clueless as what to pack. My suitcase could be considered as a carryon because of its size so I really don't want to overpack if I can help it. I know its always hot down there so I want to be prepared. As of right now its iffy where I'm staying.his mom said I could stay at her house but now my dad wants to tag along and he wants to book a hotel. My boyfriend will be working part of those days but he said he might get to see me on July 4th so we can spend it together. Any ideas on what to pack? I'll also probably be attending church with his mom so ill need somethin nice as well.

I went down to Texas two weekends ago to see my SO, & it was HOT HOT HOT. I mean, maybe because I'm from the North... But I stepped outside that airport and started choking, haha! So prepare for that. I also wanted to travel light, so I put everything in my carryon. All my makeup/bathing stuff/hair products/perfume I put in travel size containers.
I prepared for the weather by bringing a few sundresses (which were PERFECT because they're flattering, can be dressed up or down, and are nice and airy for when it's super hot, haha) my crochet TOMS (but any kind of comfortable-walking summer-y shoe would work, obviously). Oh, and I'm not really a sunglasses kind of person, but under that blazing sun I sure did appreciate having some shade! Sunscreen. I wish I had brought some cute things to put up my hair because it's long and thick and uncooperative in humidity. OH. And bring a camera! c:

Shorts. You'll be hot. :P I recommend getting travel size space bags...those things are life savers lol. Used them all the time in college.
