How many serious relationships did you have before your SO?

Two serious relationships (1 1/2 and 8 years) and a few casual ones. This is my first full-on LDR, but my first serious relationship was a semi-LDR, like Dziubka.

The first when I was 14, ended at 15 because he was abusive. Should have ended before but he pulled the whole "you'll see me whether you like me or not" thing on me.

I guess I didn't officially "date" her, but from the way we acted and the things we did, my best friend was pretty much my girlfriend from that point. She vanished (like, no one knew where she was, she stopped coming to school) until she reappeared married to another guy. That was 15-16.

The second official boyfriend was from 16 to a few months before my 19th birthday. That was an LDR. It ended because I felt he just did not prioritize me over his games... he would never want to skype, or anything like that. I was miserable. With hindsight, we had very little in common anyway. But his family loved me, and I even got engaged to him!

I dated the ex I moved to the US for after that. We were LD for 9 months then I moved here. That lasted from 19 to 21. He became entitled very quickly ie I SHOULD be providing him with sex whenever he wants it. And again his games started taking priority over "us." This relationship emotionally ended a long time before it actually ended.

Then I'm with my current boyfriend, and I also hope this is my last boyfriend.

My boyfriend had only one girlfriend before me - but it lasted 6 years. Feels very hard to compete with sometimes!

2 serious boyfriends (4 months CD and 6 months LD) And then 10 years with a guy I married at 19.

I've had about five, but the relationship with my SO has been the most serious. None of my relationships were really long distance, but one was going to be.

My first boyfriend was when I was 15, and it only lasted two months. But because I had no idea what I was doing, it was serious. My second boyfriend was when I was 16, and that lasted about two years-ish. We broke up towards the end of my junior year of high school. My third boyfriend was a few weeks after my second one and it lasted half a year, on and off. My fourth boyfriend was in the off time of my third boyfriend. That one was just weird. D: My fifth boyfriend was during my second semester at college.

He's my second serious relationship though the first one was nowhere near as serious.

Well at the time of them they all seemed pretty serious so going by that like 8 but looking back other then my SO I'd say it's only two.

Two - one when I was 17 and thought I was head over heels and going to get married etc, that ended after 1.5 years (we didn't get married :P) and the second was six years long from the age of 20-26, we broke up last January (2012) although the relationship had been over in my head for some time before that and in August, I met my SO and now we're living together

When I was 15-16 there was this guy, we had an off and on thing for a year. It really messed me up for a while, and I didn't trust guys for a while. First serious relationship would the one I'm in now with my SO, and its the same for him. But he was definitely a party boy before we started dating.

He's my only relationship I would consider serious. There was a guy I talked to for a few months online who lived far away, but he couldn't want to wait to save up the money to see me and found a girlfriend in his town instead lol.

My SO was seeing someone whilst we were friends and they were together for several months but he never considered it serious, so that makes this both our first relationship.

I would have to say that I only had 3 before my SO now. Each lasting between 2 - 3 years. I look back now though and realize I was an idiot in each of those relationships. They cheated on me over and over again,they lied to me etc. and I kept giving them chances anyway. Luckily now I've grown up and I know better now. I met my SO in 2010 and we were together a brief time toward the beginning,then we broke up because of things going on in his life,but we never stopped loving each other. Come August of 2012 we decided to try again and I've never been happier and now we're engaged and I just moved here yesterday.

My SO was my first real relationship when I was 18 years old. After we split up then, I had 2 other serious relationships. The first after him lasted about a year and we were engaged after 6 months. The second was with my son's father, which lasted for 8 years. The SO and I joke about him being first and last all the time

I only had one boyfriend before my current SO, which lasted for 6 years. I really thought he would be the guy I'll marry.

My SO had no girlfriend before me so I feel a bit lucky!

Two "serious" relationships-- one ages 15-17 and one ages 19-20. The second wasn't "labeled," but we were basically bf and gf. Many brief glimmers in between.

One it was LD. I was 23 and he was 18 from Michigan. That lasted for 3 years and then I met my SO. My SO hasn't had any really serious relationships before me.
