    She's coming home :)

My SO has been in Australia and New Zealand for the last three weeks.
She works in music and has been touring non-stop, so I haven't heard her voice in three weeks now.

It's a bit strange that I'm excited that when she's home, she's 'only' one timezone away again, but it's nice being in our normal LDR again and being able to talk.

We're gonna have dinner together over Skype tomorrow night. I'm wondering what I should cook. Ideas? (I'm a terrible chef!)

Terrible chef. Pick something up or make something simple like a noodle dish or spaghetti. (Cheat and make a box meal)

Casseroles are pretty easy. Anything with pasta TBH is non-cook friendly. Here's a good tuna casserole recipe to try, and you can substitute potato chips for the fried onions if you always have some leftover in the bottom of the bag and need to get rid of them:

Aww! I'm excited for you. I say do a Hormel Completes meal. You just throw together all the indredients in the box, add some milk or water, and toss it in the oven. Easy and tastey.

If you know her favourite dish you could give that a try, prehaps.

Don't do anything too fancy or hard since you aren't good at cooking (I'm not either!), but I know you can get pasta dishes that have everything in a bag that you just put in a frying pan, if that's something you want to try.

Thanks everyone for the ideas! I'll decide when I'm in the shops tomorrow.

Good suggestion, but she's amazing at cooking, so it could only be disappointing if I made it.
