So I called it quits

Hey folks just a wee update for y'all. So I called it quits 6 weeks ago, and if I'm being honest I've felt nothing but relief. Obviously it took a lot for me to do so and I thought long and hard about everything, but in the end I just couldnt cope with the increasing lack of contact or effort on his part and decided enoughs enough. After being friends since we were kids and in a LDR for 2.5 years I reckon I gave it a good shot and with no chance of closing the distance I decided that it was time to close this chapter of my life in order to move on. So onward and upward for myself.

Thankyou so very very much for all the laughs and advise thats been shared with myself, Ive made many friends on this forum and Im so thankful for everyone of you who have taken time out to listen and understand me when I was having tough times.

From the bottom of my heart I wish every single one of you all the luck and love for you and your SO in the future. I will probably pop by from time to time, just cos I'm so nosey haha. And just because it didnt work out for us I still have faith in LDR and I do know they can and do work, so when your feeling down folks chin up and keep going because if its meant to be, it will happen. If any of my friends on here wanna keep in touch (who I dont already keep in touch with outwith this forum), pm me with your fb and I'll give you mine.
