Yeah, it's really poopy not being able to be together during special events, especially anniversaries. Maybe see if you can find another date to celebrate together as a belated anniversary.

Try thinking back to a time when you were super busy and stressed. Now imagine adding additional time with your SO on top of that. Sometimes that helps seeing things from their perspective. Not that it makes missing them much better. Good luck

I should note: I'm absolutely horrible at this because I prioritize my SO above other things, but you can't always do that.
