Online dating/LDR's are stupid? Opinions

I've heard other people's opinions about LDR's and online dating. I've heard some say how that's no way to have a relationship. You NEED the physical aspect of a relationship for it to work. They can't see how having a relationship with someone so far away can work out.

I guess that's their own opinion. Everyone has the right.
I myself never had pictured or thought of being in the relationship I am in now. And I love my relationship. I found the most amazing person for me.

These types of relationships aren't for everyone, obviously.
I guess that's why we find the ones we love, because there are that handful of people who are strong enough and willing enough to make things work.

Who cares what other people think. I feel like this whole thread is going to turn into some dumb debate about who is right and who isn't. Clearly most people here are not going to think LDRs are stupid, because thats why most people are here.
