So I'm visiting my SO this weekend. He's dogsitting and we're staying over there on Friday. Originally he had told me we were just going to feed the dogs on Friday and stay at his place, but the owners are getting back a little later, so we're staying there. I was excited, since they have a pool and stuff, until he said we'd leave Saturday morning.
I asked him to define "morning" and he said that he would like to LEAVE by 8. As in, be showered, dressed, packed, ready to go.
UGHHH. For one, I've had mono all summer, so I'm tired all the time anyway, and two, I am not a morning person at all. Especially on Saturdays for no reason. He's an early bird and likes to get out and get stuff done- he's born and bred a farmer, so of course he's used to getting up at dawn and going to bed around 9-10. I'm the exact opposite. I'm never in bed before 12, and I prefer not to be up before 9.
I hate that we never sleep at the same time when we're together. I'm usually not tired by the time he's ready to crash, and he wakes up way before I even want to think about being awake. He feels that sleeping in "wastes" the day, but I just like being cuddled up with him, since it's something we never do.
Anyone else deal with this problem with their SO?
