I finally said it...sort of

Hey guys,
I know I've been somewhat AWOL. Things have been really busy here. To the point that I don't even chat with my honey much. But we are chatting now, and I finally told him I love you. Not in a card or letter, but via IM. Not as good as in person or over the phone, but it works.

I asked him if he wanted to know a not so secret secret, and when he said sure...i just told him. He didn't say it back in words but he sent the hearty yahoo smiley so that's a good thing. Maybe just not the right time for him, or the right format. But it was a positive response which has me feeling much better.

Now I just have to catch him on a day off to renegotiate and/or negotiate a few things to make the road smoother, especially in regards to my blogging. One step at a time.

Finally, thanks to everyone who's messaged me in some way to see how I've been. It means a lot. I think about you all often, and check the boards almost daily....I am here even if I'm not posting. This site means the world to me...support from the members helped keep me sane long enough to do my best with making this loving from a distance thing work.
