My boyfriend is moving where I live

So my boyfriend is hoping to move where I live hopefully in May. Also my boyfriend and I keep running out of questions to ask eachother do you have any advice?

Lots of sites have questions to ask couples. There used to be a book, 1000 questions for couples. I bought it before it disappeared. I don't have access to it at the moment or I would share.

Yeah I would look up on Google search questions to ask each other. Also trying the activities on the main part of this site (over 100 things to do ) and then just don't be afraid to just talk about your day, news articles, and don't be afraid of the silence. Good luck with the move and adjustments you might have to make!

So my boyfriend has nowhere to live when he moves here and he does not want to live in a homeless shelter. Do you have any ideas of where he could live and he doesn't have much money?

If he has no money then he does not have many other options. Where do he want to live? He could check in some churches but generally you get what you pay for. He could also try to find a job that includes his room like a maintenance man for a small building but moving with NO money is not a good idea. He needs to have a job or somewhere to stay or he will end up in a homeless shelter if they have room or worse yet on the street. For a few weeks he could try Couchsurfer, but many people there will only let you stay a few days.

So...he has no job, no money and no where to live? Unless he lives with you I can't see how it will work. He needs to get a job where he lives now and save money.

This is the same boat many of us are in, he really needs to keep looking and wait till he finds a job there. It sucks but unless he has a roof over his head, he would be homeless. He might also want to lower his standards temporarily. He could look for two part jobs instead of one. He won't get insurance but he can get obamacare now. He should look into working at McDonald's during the day and waiting tables at night till he is old enough to bartend. He could also look at driving a taxi, delivering pizzas or working a a laborer for a construction site. What kind of jobs has he been looking for?

Whoa! Slow down! I had to go back and read your post over again to be sure I saw it right. You might not want to hear this, but it might be time for a reality check.

You have only been in a relationship for a little over a month, no real plans for the future, can't afford a place to live, and yet you are already talking about closing the distance? Where is the logic in that? You don't even really know each other. You are young, and inexperienced with life, but talking like this is it, your last chance for happiness, last chance for love...and quickly sabotaging any chance you might have with this guy. Whose idea was it to move so fast, and for him to move to your town, even without a job or money, or a place to live? What about his plans for the future, education, career, etc. What about your plans for the future, education, career, etc.

Take the pressure off yourselves. Prepare yourselves for a good future, one with potential. Use this wonderful gift of an LDR to get to know each other better, while living and growing as individuals and as a couple. You are young. Give yourselves the gift of time. There is no rush. Take it slow and enjoy your LDR. It can be a good stepping stone, and a good foundation to a good future together.

I have a job and I go to school and my boyfriend is looking for a job once he gets a job where he lives and saves enough money he can come down and visit me one weekend . We are not moving to fast in our relationship . Once he gets a job where he lives he can save up money and he is planning on going to attend WSU college where I live and stay on campus if everything works out .

Can I ask why the huge rush? You are talking about THIS May right? As in, next month? I just want to make sure I haven't misunderstood... I haven't read any of your other threads, so I'm not aware of your back story, but why on Earth would someone you've only been with a month and a half risk being homeless just to move to you? I love my boyfriend to death but I wouldn't even consider that as a possibility and neither would he. Is he going to have to leave his home anyway or something?

My boyfriend isn't moving to where I live next month . Right now he is trying to find a job where he lives in Georgia so he can start saving money and when he has some money saved up eventually he can come visit me one weekend. I am going to college part time and I have a part time job and still live with my parents until I am ready to live on my own.
