    The end has come

Well we broke up today at work. We had a massive fight over his ex roommate leaving him owing hundreds of dollars to the cable company and he doesn't want to ask her to take responsibility for it. He says he has reasons why but hasn't shared them. He gets agitated talking about it. So I won't be around anymore. I'm sorry but it's just too painful. Thanks everyone for all the good advice and fun.

I am sorry to hear that.
I made love to him only twice, she thought and looked at the man laying asleep beside her. And yet still it is as if we have been together forever, as if he has always known my life, my soul, my body, my light, my pain

Take good care of yourself, alright? You deserve it.

Everything seemed so fine and you seemed to really have had a good time during your visit.
Was it just because of the huge fight you broke up? Or has it got to do with something else?
Was it him or you who said the fatal words?

I'm sorry if it sounds like I am making your pain worse with these questions. It's just that this doesn't sound like a good reason to break up.
Fights are a part of life.
I think if it was me and I was the one who said it was over, I would wait a little bit and then contact him and apologise for overreacting etc.

Please don't shoot me, and I don't know the facts, but I also think that your relationship is farely new and to me it sounds like you have maybe gone a bit far with telling him how he should handle the situation.
I mean it is his money and his business and if there is underlying something we (you) don't know about that affects the situation, you should be able to trust his judgement and respect the guy.
I think the situation would be different if you were married/living under the same roof.

I'm sorry if I totally misunderstood, but this is the impression I got.

I am sorry for you pain

Actually, yes, there IS stuff that YOU don't know. Stuff that gives me EVERY right to be concerned about it to lead to the fight. Stuff that is no one's business, but our business. I did it out of concern for HIM. If the whole scenario was up for public discussion then I think there would be a lot whom agree with what happened on my end. Yes, it IS his money, but when his decision will in the end affect his well being, I have the right as a girlfriend (no matter how many days, weeks, months we've been together) to voice my concern. I'm not mad at you. In every other situation that isn't this, I don't have a right at only 3 months. I can make a suggestion, but have no right to tell him what to do. I only suggested that he get this girl to cover her own expenses. I can't force him.

Ahava was just trying to be helpful, no need to take out your anger and frustration on her.

If it makes you feel better and helps a little with the pain - be my guest and have a go at me.

I agree that maybe you shouldn't tell him what to do, and just suggest, but at the same time, he really shouldn't be getting mad at you for that. That's A LOT of money and his old room mate definitely needs to own up to that. Can't he take her to civil court? I'm sorry this happened though.

No, it won't make me feel better. I apologize for being fierce with you. I'm just really frustrated that this girl is the downfall of us.
