    Surprise!

I'm planning on coming home early from my trip and surprising my boyfriend. I was thinking of there just being a big box in the living room from NZ and I'm inside or have a friend keep him busy and then the family telling him I would call in 15 min and when he shows up I would be there waiting for him. Have any of you ever surprised your SO with a visit? How did you plan it?

Don't hide in a box what if he's late that day or dosnt open the box quick enough and your inside for a really long time. What about talking to a friend of his and find a meeting spot like maybe a restraunt. Have his friend tell him to go get a table while he parks the car and when he gets inside your waiting for him at the table ?

The last time I surprised my SO with a trip I had bought him a plane ticket home to see his family for his birthday. He was living in GA at the time, they were in IN, and I was in TX. I schemed with his mom and we had a plan - she would distract him at the airport since his flight got in before mine. Saying she needed to get coffee right then - not unusual for her. So they grabbed coffee and sat and chatted for a while. I had told him before he left that I was going to be in meetings that morning, so if I didn't answer any texts or phone calls, that was why. (I told him to text/call me when he landed/got back to the house safe.)

As soon as I got off the plane and was walking towards where I knew they'd be, I gave him a call. Asked him how his flight was, & said I wanted to wish him a happy birthday. Asked him what he was up to - and by about that point I spotted him & his mom from a distance and made my way over to them. When I got close I said into the phone, "Hey. Turn around." He said, "What are you doing here?!?" It was fantastic.

Anyway, why not work it out with his family that they order takeout or something for dinner, and you be the delivery person? (Obviously you'd have to go pick up the food yourself and then bring it over to their house.)

        Progress: Complete!

2017 Goal: Pay off credit card debt
        Progress: Working on it.

Surprise visits are so much fun!
When I surprise visited my SO I arranged with his mum to pick me up at the airport. He as in German class at the time I arrived so I went to his language school and waited in the hallway. Of course he was one of the last people to leave the classroom and then he looked at me and simply couldn't believe I was there.

Lyonsgirl's idea with bringing food as a delivery person sounds great.

Być tam, zawsze tam, gdzie Ty.

When I surprised my SO last month, I literally thought about popping out of a box hahah.
But I ended up just walking in to his room and he was just as shocked.
I arranged it with his mom and sister and had his sister pick me up from the airport and bring me back to their house.
Good thing he was in his room so he didn't hear me come into the house or expect me to be there!

This sounds really cool! I'd be waiting in a box at his parents house because he doesn't have a landline and calling to a cellphone from my cell is really expensive for me! I love the delivery person surprise though!
