    Attractions?

When I first saw my boyfriend's picture on his profile I imminently fell in love with his smile But what really caught my attention was his personality. I loved the way he treated me like a lady, he wasn't like any other guy But gosh is smile is amazing!!!!

So my question to you is: What attracted you to your SO?

Hmmm-- Hard to pick one thing. I'd have to say his easy smile and exuberance were what attracted me initially.

      Hm..
For me, it would have to be how easily we talked. We didn't have to struggle for conversation and there wasn't an awkward silence when we didn't have anything to say. We were just comfortable talking to each other about anything and everything.

I've known my guy since I was 14, but I didn't see his picture (or even know his race) until late January of this year.

What initially attracted me to him was his writing. This man has always sounded like a modern Shakespeare or Poe to me and his skill with words actually drove me to become a better writer so I could earn the right to be complimented by him. What sealed the deal was, the day I saw his pictures on his Facebook (before he deleted it) I noticed a pattern in his eyes. Every last picture, even the one from his childhood, he gave the camera, the viewer, this look that said "within my mind is a world far beyond this reality that is both vastly superior and more grandiose, but only I have access." He was taunting the camera with the very worlds I'd watched him create for years. I fell instantly. Even in pictures I took of him from Skype he has it, only when he's looking at me they seem to say, "I'll share only with you."

His eyes. I'm a sucker for brown eyes... and they are the most rich, bright, intuitive eyes I've ever seen in my life. He could tell you stories with them. And when he looked at me, it was like he was piercing into my soul, finding some secret knowledge even I didn't know about myself.

After getting past his gorgeous eyes, his gentleness has always astounded me. It's a quality not many young men these days seem to think is important, much less possess. But he is always so gentle, in his spirit, attitude, everything. And he's that way to every single person. I almost always get emotional when I really start to think about it.

He's also extremely expressive with his eyebrows, and I think that's the most adorable thing ever ^_^

              In short; everything.

His smile, his eyes, how much he cares, how dedicated he is to everything he loves, his sense of humor.
Maybe I'm meant for the sea. We pass it by so passively & all that's said is what we know;; We'll watch it come;; We'll watch it go..

At first it was his looks of course, his nice blue eyes made and still make me melt especially when he just stares into my eyes. After that, it was the easyness of talking to one another , no weird times where there is that awkward silence. His personality and oh my goodness his accent *melts* We get along well and also have the dynamic of being able tot tease each other... all with love! Other physical features that attract me to him are his hands and I loooove to kiss him. *sigh* Now this is making me miss him even more than I already do lol good thing we don't have that much longer to wait for all the things we miss.

Grammar is a major turn on. I understand!

How special I was to him. Before I saw his photo and before he saw mine, when we first began speaking the way he singled me out from an entire group of chatters was exhilirating. I've never felt so special to someone like that before just for being myself. When I wanted to date guys in the past, like many of us, I always put my best face forward, show my most positive personality traits. But with him, well, I wasn't looking to date, not looking for love. I was just being me, and yet he WANTED to talk to me and he let me know it. I was someone who has somehow caught his attention and it was amazing.

When it came to seeing his photo for the first time, that's a toughy. But if I had to choose just one thing I'd have to say it was his eyes. I like to tell him he has a puppy dog face, and his eyes express exactly what I mean-they're wide and gentle with that deep spark of intelligence. The eyes of someone I know won't lie to me when they look into my own for the first time and he can tell me exactly how he really feels.

These are all initial attractions of course, and now that our conversation have grown and I've seen more than just that single face shot of him I can safely say I certainly have a LOT more of him that I'm quite attracted to

The first two things weren't exactly deep, but they were his voice, I heard it on Vent while we played WoW in raids, I always loooved it when he spoke. Then his eyes. Pale sky blue. Those were just the initial attractions. All of the important stuff soon followed!

Well it was a while after being friends that I even saw a picture of Garnet, and even longer until I realized I had romantic feelings towards her. But during the times of friendship I think even, as well as starting our romance, I was always attracted by her intellect and wittiness. She always had something smart-assed to say, and I loved it. Since I'm a face guy (As in, all about the face when it comes to the opposite sex), later on when I first saw her Facebook picture I just thought to myself, no way she's as old as she says she is, cause damn is she good looking. :O I was also really attracted by her skill at the game we played. (What can I say, I like a girl who can challenge me!)
