    Our time is up

    So as you ca probably guess by the title, things didn't exactly work out with my SO and I. She cheated on me with a guy to try be 'normal' and since then nothing was the same and she was always distant and making excuses for not talking to me. for the past 3 months i've put up with it, trying to make excuses and understand. but then last monday she basically told me her new friends she's made don't like me because i take up to much of her time and to avoid disappointing them she isn't gonna date me anymore. i'm more disappointed than upset i guess. we wee together for nearly two years and the fact she can throw it all away because her friends don't like me is ridiculous really.
    So yeah, i'm no longer in a ldr but i'll still stick around here.

      I'm sorry you're going through that I agree it's very unfair for her to end your relationship after nearly two years because of her new friends... I'm glad you're sticking around though!

                      Wow. What a dick move on your ex-SO's part. Cheating on you and then choosing her friends over you because she wanted to fit in better? That's stupid. Be glad you found out now. You're young, you'll find someone else in no time who won't jerk you around.

                      But even still, it doesn't change how much it sucks right now and I feel for you.

                        Sorry to hear that - sounds a really poor way for her to end it with you.

                        While it is painful now, it is better you are out though by the sound of it, as she seems to care more what other people think than actually what she wants.....
