I have to agree with almost everyone answering to this Topic.
The things you write about your BF Sound rather odd and more then slightly untrustworthy, if you ask me.
You are 18 years old, I recommend you concentrate on your life and future, without adding a rather difficult relationship that might drag you into situations you don't want to go through.
This judged on what you told us about his life.

For him not wanting to see you, another sign for me that you should really think about if this is the right Thing for you. It's good he sais he wants to sort his life out, but what has probation got to do with seeing you? Is he not allowed to leave his City? Or why would he not travel those 45 minutes? And why would he not see you if you are in his City?
I think you should not waste your energy on him - spare it for looking after you and maybe find someone else!
happiness can be found in the darkest of places, if only you remember to turn on the light

Agreed with the above. Either he's lying about who he is, or doesn't care as much as you do. I'm sorry OP, but this guy... he's dragging you down.
So I don't want to start any trouble or anything like that, but catfishing is something that happens pretty often, and earlier I was on Facebook and saw someone post something about "Chance the rapper" and I remember this post and thought, hmm there really can't be that many rappers named "Chance", can there be? It could be very possible that this person you are talking to is impersonating this rapper Chance that is still fairly "unknown" I guess you could say. Your best bet would be to get as much proof as possible that this person you're talking to is who they say they are.

I think that is far fetched because according to Wikipedia, Chance the Rapper lives in Chicago, not Florida.

I know I saw that too, but there are also multiple facebook accounts for Chance the Rapper reporting that he is from Chicago and living in Los Angeles and others saying from Chicago living in Florida. My point was that it was just a really weird coincidence with someone named "Chance" wanting to be a rapper mixed with giving reasons why he doesn't want to see her, I just think the whole situation is fishy and she needs to get proof from this person saying they are who they say they are.

Yep very fishy. Wonder what happened to the OP?
I hope the drama about exclamation marks didn't throw her off.

I stalked her and found her facebook page. Her Chance is a very young looking white boy, so I doubt he's impersonating anything. Maybe just scared? Or a catfish in other ways.

I have to agree completely catfishing does happen very often and it is so weird he doesn't even want to meet you in his hometown, either he is lieing to you about who he is or he is simply too scared to meet you.

Creepy lol but it's good to know whoever he is that he's not try to impersonate that other rapper guy....but agree there has to be a bigger reason that he won't go see her.
