    Silly and usual names.

    So, I thought for a bit of fun, I would create a thread based off silly and/or pet names. What does your SO call you and what do you call your SO?

    My nickname is mostly kitten, due to the fact I've been told I act and sound very much like a cat on occasion, it goes back several years I've also been called hollathon (my real name mixed in with marathon, apparently he finds this funny, I just found it weird xD) and fluffy! (Returning to the kitten nickname there). I call my SO my werewolf, because.... damn... that beard and moustache and long, black hair Fuzzy is another one, goes along with him being a "werewolf." Asides from the usual like babe, baby, sweetie, etc.

    Huh, I don't really think they're silly names, but ones we've always used for each other since we met would be he would call me a goon, and I'd call him a dork. It's just the way we are lol
    Some names we call each other in general are- well the main one is love. We used to call each other lurrv which came up by me because I didn't want to tell him about my feelings so early as I knew how much the word love meant to him and I. On our last phone call I heard him say babe. I have to admit it though, I simply enjoy when he says my name like I really like hearing him say my name and I also enjoy saying his....so it's like.. ehhh xD

    I will say though, we both really dislike "BAE" we think it's dumb and ridiculous.

        Our main ones are either babe or baby. Fairly normal and we both call each other that instead of our names. But sometimes he calls me his angel, his beautiful blonde, his girl, and beautiful <3. Oh and he calls me meanie too cuz I'm pretty mean to him sometimes lol. Other things I call him are cutie and brat (he loves that one way too much lol.) I could go on and on with the silliness here lol. It's adorable and I love it and him :3

          Haha some of ours are pretty vulgar. You would think from the way we talk to each other sometimes that we can't stand each other, but that's just our sense of humor. We're very sarcastic with each other. It's how we play.

          But, the safe ones are:

          Babes
          Babe
          Lovey (I use this)
          Dumpring (He calls me this sometimes)
          Squeaky (apparently, I'm really squeaky when I talk)
          Potatohead (I call him this because he's Irish, lmao)

            I sometimes call him sevgilim which means my love and he calls me jenta mi (my girl). Usually in English he calls me sweet and I call him love. He also likes to call me Princess, which is very complimental in Turkish. I also call him My man, especially when we talk in the 3rd person... Like How is My man today? If he wants to be harsh or correct me, he will go: Sweetie....? with an ie at the end and a fake surprised tone of voice, I have learned to do the same with his full name, which I think is really funny. I will call him kitten sometimes and I am "the butcher's cat" and he is "the street cat" from the Turkish poem about impossable love.

              As far as typical names go, we refer to each other as darling a lot, and he'll call me pet. There was the ONE time he called me Shartlotte, but that stopped as soon as he found out what "shart" actually meant, and although funny as hell, wasn't a good combination of "Charlotte" and "heart".

              He also likes to call me a nerd, so I'll call him a chump. We're pretty standard, I feel.

              There was also this one time I called him my "snuggle wuggle wumps" specifically to make him cringe. It worked.

                I started calling my SO buttface a while ago, I don't really remember why but it just stuck. He didn't like it at first but it's definitely grew on him and he calls me that sometimes too. It's a term of endearment for us now, imagine that xD

                  We usually refer to each other as Janeybaby/Davybaby, Janey/Davybum, Cutiebum, Honeybummie, Sillybum, Doofusbrain, Bub, Baby, Honey, Cutiesicle, and I like to call him my little banana/apple/strawberry for fun xD or when one of us is being kinda harsh: dill-hole. It usually lets the other know when something they said or did crossed a line.

                    We rotate through quite a few regularly switching it up. It started out as babe/baby... but we've gotten silly over time right now he calls me hun/sweetie/boo(bear) a lot while I call him love bug, baby, honey bunny, sweet pea/sweetheart and a bunch of other names when I'm being silly. Sometimes I call him monkey boy, lizard man and other various animal names since he loves animals and we joke about them often. Sometimes I call him pop tart (he loves them) or pumpkin. At this point I could just use any food or animal and it could be a nickname lol.

                      He uses Babe a lot and I call him Honey. Special names are: for me, his Precious and he is My Heart. Lately though, we've just been calling each other Wife and Husband. He is actually listed at "The Husband" for his caller ID on my phone.

                        I wear a scarf to bed so he affectionately calls me 'Mary Lou' at bedtime. There's a song that goes "hello mary Lou" that he played for me one day that I quite like. At other times it's just 'babe' or 'my queen'.

                          HAHA oh my goodness me and my SO call each other the most ridiculous names, I think we would beat everyone else on this forum😂 Basically we have a million weird nicknames for each other because we take whatever random combination of cute words that comes to mind and blurt them out😂😂 A lot of them derive from inside jokes as well. Of course there's the regular "baby" etc, but the others, well, prepare to laugh (or gag)... :

                          Baby bear / teddy bear
                          Potato / Exotic potato
                          Bunny hopscotch / Hunny bopscotch
                          Munchkin
                          Pumpkin
                          Doofus
                          Moose / Chocolate moose / Confused moose
                          Puppy

                          BUT at the same time I love his name and he loves mine (he also has a really cute way of pronouncing my name so I love it! lol) so we mostly just call each other by our names. We just use cutesy nicknames when we answer the phone / hang up / are joking around and being silly:P
