So, long story short.... Our date to close the distance has been pushed back about a month due to meetings he has to be out of town for and isn't finished packing up his house yet. Naturally I was very upset about this since I came home yesterday, because he was supposed to be here Saturday and that wasn't going to happen. Without going into detail, I found out in my way to the airport Friday that something happened with my daughter at school Friday and the police got involved for an investigation against one of her teachers. My ex husband was handling it ( I found this out as I was getting in the plane). I got home late last night, but didn't see her until tonight, and I got more details about what happened. I texted SO to tell him what happened and he texted me back that he booked a flight and rented a car And will be here Saturday afternoon so we can go Monday to the principal and find out what's happening (schools out this week), then go to the police station and talk to the detective investigating the case. I can't believe he is doing all of this for her and for me. He's my hero and I adore him.....and now I adore him twice as much!

He was new to the school in January, and apparently this has been going since then. She has him for three classes but in one class there is another teacher so he keeps his hands to himself. There's a teacher with the same name from a neighboring county who was fired 19 years ago for putting his hands on a girl, but I don't know if it's the same man. I want to hurt him!sigpic
I love him. Forever. And every day after that.

I'm so sorry you and your daughter have to go through this, it sounds very traumatic! And you're definitely right that they should have called you before she spoke to the police alone!!
I'm glad your SO will be with the two of you on this. So, here you are
too foreign for home
too foreign for here.
Never enough for both.
