To be honest its better to be able to talk to someone than it is to write with someone.

Texting/writing takes a longer time to get your point across than it is with words.

If you guys still talk on the phone every night i don't think it is a big deal not texting during the day. You guys both need your own lives and space.

Especially if you say he is that way with others then don't feel bad about it. Hope you are feeling better.

Also, I feel like it's more about quality more so than quantity some times. I do totally get wanting more communication, believe me. If I had it my way, my SO and I would talk all day, every day, just because he's one of those people that I don't mind talking to for hours and hours. But, he's just not like that.

I do think maybe you could mention it to your SO, but not put pressure on him about it if this issue still bothers you.
