My SO and I don't get to communicate much because of his job, and it was okay for the first few weeks but this last week has been really tough. I feel like we never get to talk and I'm always sending him stuff, but he never gets a chance to respond and I feel like I'm annoying him... I really care for him and we won't be long distance much longer but this is just really hard... I know a lot of people have it harder, but it sucks to feel like I can never talk to my boyfriend... Sorry for ranting, just having a tough time and would really appreciate any advice you guys have.

I don't know what your situation is like but all my boyfriend in high season does is work and sleep. I know how it is, and I don't send him that much. you are lucky if you know you will be cd soon. how about if you write your thoughts down and give them to him in a book when you meet him?I made love to him only twice, she thought and looked at the man laying asleep beside her. And yet still it is as if we have been together forever, as if he has always known my life, my soul, my body, my light, my pain

If you communicated a lot before, and now it's just because he's work, I don't think you'll annoy him. I bet he feels a little bit bad for not having time to answer you, but he might like reading all the stuff you are sending him
You say that you won't be LDR for much longer- that's great! Keep your focus on that and time will fly

Wish I could give you a straight answer. Unfortunately, sometimes and often, minimal communication does become an obstacle in ldr's every now and then. im anxious too my so will be starting a new job in a few weeks which requires him to do manual work and fly across the states. but i guess we will take each day as it comes, when it comes. do you send each other gifts, make care packages etc? i find that is one way of feeling close to my so when he is busy or i am caught up.
also, going out buying things, putting a basket together, thinking of surprise gifts and more helps to keep your mind occupied and its worth it just to see the smile on their face at the end of it . all i can say really, is work for today, with tomorrow in mind. look forward to your future, but focus on the task that the present day has set you.
